An agenda item on the subject matter was placed before the Infrastructure Development Committee of the Board of Directors (IDC) vide item (11) of its meeting held on 15.04.2010.The Committee accorded approval for granting relaxation in the
requirement of minimum constructed area in case of Bio Mass based Power Plant
and Herbal Extract Purified Derivatives Bulk Drugs Projects. Accordingly the
above industries be included in the list of specific
industries which have been permitted relaxation earlier vide IDC decision
dated 19.6.09. The Committee further decided to bring specific proposal for allowing such relaxation in other deserving cases. (Lalit Kumar
